Orkney IFA publishes new guide to mortgages
We've given it the not-so-snappy - but accurate! - title of "Almost everything you need to know about mortgages and didn't know to ask... ... and that no one else told you", because it's been our experience that many folk who come in to talk about mortgages know exactly what they want to do but have much less idea of how to go about it, what it'll cost, what the risks are and so on. The informal, easy-to-read booklet deals with a range of issues - types of mortgage, different methods of repayment, interest rates, who's involved in the process, costs and fees, insurances - and has been well received by people generally.
