Orkney IFA Ltd, was established in July 2005 by the two remaining partners of Alastair Macleod IFA, Thorfinn Rendall and Steve Smith.

The business has been operating in Orkney since April 2000 and both Steve and Thorfinn are directors as well as financial advisers with the company.

The business identity has since been established by offering our clients a specialised service, be it on an individual or corporate basis.

Both Steve and Thorfinn are involved in advising clients in specialised areas, such as Self-Invested Personal Pensions (SIPPs), and Pension Drawdown, portfolio construction, group pensions and business protection planning.

Judith Sinclair joined the company in 2001 and is a graduate from Edinburgh University. She is also a licensed financial adviser and has responsibilities for Group Personal Pensions and share dealing.

Our mortgage adviser, Mark Crook, joined in October 2006 after seven years as manager of a local building society. He's a fully qualified mortgage adviser and looks after all aspects of client's mortgage and other borrowing needs.

Denise Stevenson, who joined us in December 2006, is responsible for client management and back office systems.
