Orkney IFA Ltd was established in July 2005 by the two remaining partners of Alastair Macleod IFA, Thorfinn Rendall and Steve Smith. The business has been operating in Orkney since April 2000 and both Steve and Thorfinn are directors as well as financial advisers with the company. Both advise clients in specialised areas such as Self-Invested Personal Pensions (SIPPs), pension drawdown, portfolio construction, Group Personal pension Schemes, pensions and business protection planning, as well as inheritance tax planning and investments. The business identity has been established by offering clients a specialised, completely confidential service, be it on an individual or corporate basis.
Judith Sinclair joined the company in 2001 and is a graduate of Edinburgh University. She's a licensed financial adviser and manages Group Personal Pensions schemes for a "Who's Who" of Orkney's best known employers.
Mark Crook joined us in October 2006 after seven years as manager of a local building society. He's a Registered Mortgage Adviser and looks after mortgages, bridging loans, secured loans, commercial loans and Equity Release plans.
Denise Stevenson joined us in December 2006 and takes care of client management and back office systems.
